Official Declaration

I guess we're making an official announcement today - I'M WALKING!! If it was up to me, I would have declared it last Tuesday, but trying to get my mother to actually throw me a bone and admit that I've hit a milestone is like pulling teeth. And not just the front easy ones, its the really hard and big back molars.

Not a Yeti

No matter what you might think, this is NOT me. Its definitely a yeti. This is is unequivocally, completely, 100%...not me. I'm much better at walking than this guy. Don't fight me on this.

Yeti Sighting

I know there are skeptics out there. You know who you are. There are people out there that won't believe this video is actually me. I'm sorry for the grainy picture and the dark lighting. We were at Chili's. There are witnesses, those people in the booths saw me. Jeez, some of you people act like a sighting me walking is as fake as a sighting of Big Foot or Nessy. This is me! I swear!

The Wheels Are Falling Off

First thing first. Mom's camera broke on Monday while she was at a golf tourney. This is very bad because I'm really starting to kind of enjoy this walking thing. I took 5 steps on Monday. Of course the camera missed. I practiced a lot last night, taking two, maybe three steps. Dad is in hot pursuit on getting the camera fixed today, or Mom and I are going to buy a new one tomorrow.

I guess Palmer took 9 steps the other day, but the next day he didn't take any. Except for pushing me around in my wagon. I haven't heard where he's at in the last few days. I'm really trying to work on this. Not that its a competition.....who am I kidding?! Everything is a competition, just like everything is a fashion show!

PS - Special anniversary shout out to Molly & Tom. I just can't believe its been 10 years already. Molly, you must have been a child bride. Congratulations, I'm very proud to have you as my dear friends.

Practicing walking

First Steps

We all knew it was coming, I just didn't know I'd like it so much! The next step is doing it by myself. Have got to keep up with Palmer!!

Stand By Me

I'm getting closer and closer to this walking thing. I can even take a few steps now, as long as someone is holding my arms of course. I really like standing though. If I'm cranky, all you have to do is prop me up next to the ottoman or coffee table, and I'm good to go.

I don't know for sure, but I either have a cold, or I have allergies. My nose is running, I'm coughing, and I'm very tired. Believe it or not, I've actually lost a bit my appetite the last couple days too. I love all foods, but the squash had me gagging last night. Next time Mom needs to put butter and sugar on it and I'll eat it right up.

Check It Out

Check out A. this cool wagon I got from my uncle Derek and "auntie" Chris. I love, love, love it. B. I am standing by myself. Oh yeah, all by myself. Granted, I fell down right after this shot and then I was totally PO'd, but I still did it. Things seem to be coming along nicely.

The big plan for today is we're going to the dr for my 6 month check up. I have a feeling that means SHOTS again. I'm sick of it. But I am curious to hear how big I am and if I check out OK with everything else. I will write more when I return.
