Knockin' Balls

Over the weekend was the 11th annual Bocce Ball Tournament. It was a great success, and held at a new location this year. It was actually a bocce ball player's dream. Here's a look at the Grouchy Dog where everyone hung out between matches. Here's the back 40. Here's where you could kick back and relax. Here's where you could just be a kid. This is where I would've rather been all day. At least they let me help keep score.

Mom and Willie won the tourney, and poor Daddy...still win less, but he doesn't seem to mind. A special thank you to Willie and Kimberli for letting us play on the Grouchy Dog's back 40. It was such a blast, and I'm sorry I went number 2 while napping in George's room. Hopefully its aired out by now. If you wanna see more pictures or read more stories about the day check out The Princess and The 34B Cupper.

The defensive side of the ball,
HAJ

PS - Shout out Happy Anniversary (yesterday) to Ben and Tasha in OR! You may not believe this, but my parents are talking about a visit......

henners - cute as ever, my friend. ben and i were actually thinking about your parents on our anniversary - all of our friends, actually, but defintely your parents. we were remembering how they had to sit through the most sentimental and sloppy rehearsal dinner in the history of rehearsal dinners... thank you father mohr. anyway, i'm pretty sure there were loads of adult beverages involved, so it wasn't as painful as it could have been - i hope.

on another note, you are welcome in either portland or bend any ole' time you want to visit. as a matter of fact, we'll even let you bring your parents and we'll make sure that kola is on her best puppy behavior. she loves to play with small people (not to be confused with "little people" - though i think she would like them, too...). and, if your mom and dad have to make the trip "sans henry" - i promise we'll make them bring you a cool present. we don't have a lot of buffalo here, but we do have emus :) tash
