Another Crazy Pair
This past weekend, the other set of "crazies" from Texas came to visit us: Annie and Jasper! We had the best weekend, and it was so sad to see them go. It was great to play with them all day long. We spent the days playing, and the evenings having movie night and eating popcorn. It was great too because Patrick came over everyday too! More on the weekend tomorrow!

Noel
Merry Christmas everyone! Santa came to Aunt Niki and Uncle Larry's house. I can't believe he found me down here in Texas, but he did. We all must have got our apology letters in to him in time, because we made quite the load. He even ate the cookies, and the reindeer ate the hay. All of the reindeer even signed a letter for me, so now I have all of their autographs. I can't believe that this guy just comes and leaves presents; its too good to be true! I'm going to be good all year this year, just to make sure he comes again next year.
Merry Christmas!

Life Lessons
I've been meaning to write about my cousins that moved to Texas. I miss them so much already and its only been a couple weeks. Its just a bummer that I can't call them on the phone and see if they want to play. At least I got to hang out with them all day on the day they moved. We had one last hurrah!
Before they left, I wanted to give them something to remember me by. I worked with Jasper all afternoon trying to teach him how to sit up all by himself. He was doing awesome, but there were a few slip ups. All in all, I think it went well and these skills will definitely be something he'll use in the future.
Annie was a bit more complicated. If you remember back, I was taking some medical classes, and I thought if I taught Annie how to be a doctor, she would be able to find a good job and help support her family in Texas. I taught her how to check a baby's temperature and change a diaper. I think, if nothing else, she's going to be a great help to her mom and dad with taking care of her little brother.
I hope they are having a great time in their new town. And we'll be there soon enough for them to teach me the ways of the world at the Alamo.
Distance makes the heart grow fonder,

Let Me Count the Ways
What a handsome devil. Ooo-la-la! Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope everyone has a great day! Eat tons of chocolate and drink lots of wine. Remember, today is a free day on your diet too! So live it up. But don't go too crazy, or you'll never have an ass as sweet as this. (The profanity, I know. I only use it when absolutely necessary.)
I had another great day with Dad yesterday. He ended up having an appointment in the afternoon that I wasn't allowed to go on, so I got to hang out with my cousins! They took a bunch of pictures of me, but I haven't seen the proofs yet. Hopefully I'll have them share with you at a later date. Tonight we're planning a romantic dinner for 3 of pizza and a little chocolate dessert.
Go bananas,
HAJ
UPDATE - Check out My Pumpkin Juice today for photos from my antics at my cousins' house yesterday. Is there a doctor in the house?

Fighting Fish
One sock on, one sock off - let's call the whole thing off. Dad thinks my face looks like the fish on my shirt in this pic. I'm cool with it.
This morning I woke up at 5:30 and started talking. Mom heard me but ignored me. I was in full scream by 6:15, so she finally talked Dad into coming to get me up. Turns out I was crammed into the corner of my crib. I'm getting to be a good scoocher and spinner, so sometimes I get myself in these predicaments. Everything worked out though. They got me up, fed me, and then I fell back asleep for about an hour. I missed my morning play time with Mom before work, but today is our Friday and we can play all day tomorrow if we wanna.
I would like to send a shout out to my cousins Annie & Jasper. Their Daddy had to go to TX yesterday for his new job, and they probably won't see him for like, two or more weeks. I know they're sad and I'm sad too. You guys can come play with me anytime you want.
Oh - and I'd like to send another shout out to my Gammy. She had her last round of chemo yesterday!! YAY!!! One more thing to check off the list! I know you probably don't feel good today, but just know that part is over and you're one step closer to ending this thing. I love you Gammy.

Where's My Daddy?
This morning was kind of a hard day. I had to take Daddy to the airport so he could go to Colorado to go hunting with his buddies. I'm going to miss him a lot. I haven't been away from him before for this long. "Hi Daddy!" I know he'll be reading this.
So to deal with my saddness I went out to lunch with my cousin Jasper, uncle Addison, and auntie Gina. Thank you Uncle Addy for lunch! Oh - and Mom thanks you for the glass of wine too.
Last night all of our friends came over and hung out in our new screened porch. We ordered pizza and hung out and talked, and I played with Annie, Patrick, and Jasper. I got to spend a lot of time with Bergan. He even fed me dinner. He's an old pro.
Not much else planned for the rest of the week. Just Mom and I. We're just going to try to survive these next few days together alone! If we can get through this, we can get through anything.
